All these jewellery components are made from brass, which is a yellow alloy made up of two metals: copper and zinc. It has a beautiful golden shine that will take your jewellery making to the next level.

Brass resists tarnish better than many other jewellery metals, and when it does tarnish it tends to take on a brownish, antiqued colour as it darkens. Many creators admire the rustic look of brass as it ages and even use antiquing agents to recreate the look of rustic, vintage brass. If you don’t like the aged look, cleaning and buffing brass will restore its shine.
